What your visit looks like
Someone on our team sees you, and the pregnancy test comes first. A positive can show up in as little as three minutes, and you hear it right there. It can also be used when you apply for BadgerCare or WIC.
If it's positive, a limited ultrasound confirms the two things that matter most at this stage: where the pregnancy has implanted, and how many weeks along you are. A small number of pregnancies implant outside the uterus, which is a medical emergency, and a date counted back from your last period can be off by weeks.
After that, you can ask about every option and take the information home with you. We've been caring for women and families across Northcentral Wisconsin for more than 20 years.
